Requiem for Sun

I find myself with similar thoughts to this columnist. I’ve been involved with Sun gear since I was in high school, and it just doesn’t seem right to have them bought by Oracle. It’s a sad passing like when Digital finally succumbed to its wounds. The comparisons between McNeely and Olsen seem spot on as well. Who would have guessed that IBM would still be going strong after all of these years, and most of the contenders have fallen along the way?
